D & W Air Conditioning,
This is a report card on the work done to install our A/C. On a scale of 1-10-----10 being the best your men rated a 10+ all the way in every way. This included their looks, manners, hard work, and doing a terrific job. I feel very happy because i am the one that set up the appt. to come out to our house. My husband was not home on that day and if this was not right i would hear about it.
p.s. Thank you for the new plywood which you did on your own. Richard hated that piece that was cracked. We also want to say that we would recommend you to any of our friends that may need air conditioning. I feel word of mouth is the best!!!

My a/c unit was not working.
I chose D & W from the phone book because they were family owned and operated. They came out almost immediately after my call. Tim, my serviceman, was very pleasant, polite and thorough in giving me a quote. They were able to come put the next day to replace my unit. In the meantime, Doug, brought a portable a/c unit to my house which kept my bedroom very cool. I was extremely grateful since it was the middle of the summer and very hot outside. He really went above and beyond to keep me comfortable until they could complete the job. When the crew came to replace my a.c they were very pleasant and polite. They did a great job cleaning the entire jobsite when they finished. I would definately recommend them to my friends and i will be sure to call them in the future for all my a.c and heating problems!

I had a major a/c failure.
They responded quickly and after i accepted the bid, they replaced the entire unit, ducts, and put in 3 new returns, replumbed the coolant lines and redid the plenums. It took only 2 days. Price was reasonable considering the amount of work they had to do. I would certainly reccomend them to my friends and hire them again in the future.

My a/c unit completely died on Sunday.
After getting several estimates, I chose D & W. They had me up and running by Saturday. They were prompt, Professional and had the best price. Can not ask for more than that. I recommecnd them highly.

D & W is an amazing family operation.
First emergency call to Venice Florida was in 2006 for a flooded unit in attic with lots of wet insulation and ductwork. They came, cleaned up, installed a new ground-level heat pump and air returns in the garage including duct work and custom allergy unit. Price was excellent. Teamwork was obvious. They reminded me about federal rebate for installing EnergyStar unit. During second emergency in july 2011 with Alzheimer's father in residence and a.c out at midnight, I called and got a live person - the same person who came at dawn Sunday morning to do the repair. It was an unusual problem, but he had the parts. ON teh spot, he gave me the service contract discounts in exchange for me buying it. ON third visit in August 2011, both father and son came to figure out ongoing problem with expensive allergy unit. After one call by the owners, I had a free replacement part+warranty period and no charge for the labor even though they saw additional things that needed to be done and did them. Last, several times over the years, I have called with questions and always gotten answers - including e-mails of parts of manuals with information highlighted.

I needed service to a rental property that i own,
the tenant was complaining about the a/c freezing. The technician came on time and explained the possible problems. An estimate was provided and I accepted. After about 30 minutes, the a/c was running perfectly again. I am happy with their service and will be using them again in the future.

I had three different employees from the company working at my house.
All were polite and hard working. After the work was done properly the owner personally came to my house to make sure everything was done properly and to my expectations. I will be using them again in the future when I need more work done.
